an afternoon in greenwich village
When I was younger, I documented absolutely everything. My camera came along with me even if I was just going to the grocery store and I now have hundreds of thousands of photos stored away. I don't know why I eventually stopped, but I want 2015 to be the year I start, once again, documenting the things in my life that I don't want to forget.
Christiana and I had originally planned on spending the day walking around Manhattan with our cameras, but ended up sitting down for coffee + tea outside of a little café in Greenwich Village for a few hours.

a wildfire in the winter
I spent the last couple weeks of 2014 lusting after the place I now call my home. I go out to explore quite often, but I still find it hard to contain my excitement (as if it were something tangible that could burst out of me). In just a month I've spent so much of my time visiting art galleries, eating in little diners after Dominick gets off of work, shooting with new + old friends, and making vegetable pho in the tiniest kitchen I may ever have. I'm beyond excited to see where 2015 takes me and my work.
Ariane and I spent an entire afternoon wandering across 42nd Street, continuing to shoot even after the sun went down and my fingers were too numb to press the shutter.
